For the really frugal.... or exact paint matchers.

You can get some traction stuff made for paint.

Believe it or not, it's ground up glass.

I mixed some in floor paint when I did the steps for my folks. It makes any paint into non skid.

Sand to glass, glass to sand makes sense to me. some town's here are now grinding glass into gravel mix for new road const.

When I first got my tractor, 6 years ago, I took my footrests to Line-X and they sprayed 'em for me. Cost $25 as I recall. It's good protection against wear and tear, but bedliner is not as slip resistant as I had thought.

Yes they had line x do my work truck and it's like a rubber, it can be slippery. the stuff from plasti cote has a sand paper finish like 100 grit.

For a price like that I'm gonna have to do this soon before mowing season gets into full swing. Thanks for the info.

When I had my boat, I got ground walnut shells from the paint store and sprinkled that into the wet paint. That was back in 1958, so things might have changed a little since then. Gasoline was 20 or 25 cents a gallon also!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
