In general honey produced from various forage sources are the best while monoculture honey is the worst. Canola honey comes to mind. Can't stand that one. But some people might prefer it.
Store bought honey is like a lottery bet. Some is good and some is bad. If I get a chance I buy honey from a local bee keeper. Small operations usually have better honey than large industrial size one.

A lot of the packagers will say "all of our honey is bought from local farms" but have no restrictions on THEM buying anything. As far as I know the Chinese/hyperfiltered honey is still a problem. I think some of the guys were even cutting it with local pollen for resale to hide their source? People will find an "angle" for a quick buck no matter what the rules are...
I heard that chinese stuff was even cut with high fructose corn syrup too. Even more reason to avoid it.
