Played with the planer today, truing up some 2x6, and cutting some side bars. Wow, working with flat wood is amazing.

Also, insulating and closing up hive floors.

Also got to test the run out in my job site saw while doing so. After ripping a 2x6 (10) times, the scrap at the end only varied in thickness from one end to the other by .015".

Incredible

Gorgeous! (And I love the work table)

All the best,

That work table was an awesome project. All pocket screws. You can't see a single fastener, except on the table top.
I noticed. Gorgeous! What coating did you put on it?

I also noticed how pristine the top is. 😀

All the best,

Peter

Several layers of Shellac. Very durable
I have often used a 50/50 mix of shellac and linseed oil. Gorgeous, but it benefits from many, many coats. I'm not sure that I would use it on a workbench.

All the best,

The top is 3/4 MDF... So this gave it a nice hard shell for longevity.
