Spreader Befco Spreader Deal

I was telling my dealer that I was interested in a spreader. He mentioned that I could pick up a used one he was taking in for $50. It's a 3ph unit, so I figure it's pretty beat for that price.

Can you get rebuild parts for the spreader drives? I figured even if I can't, as long as I can get a couple of years out of it spreadin salt on the driveway, then I'll be doin' good.

Yeah you should be able to get all the parts you need for that spreader. I would take a close look at the hopper and make sure there isn't any major rust problems as well as making sure all the mechanism works and the agitator seems to be working properly. Good luck.

I've got an older Befco hop spreader. I was able to get a new agitator although I had to order through a dealer. The lady at Befco was extremely knowledgable of their products and had the correct part number for me to order in no time.
