sorry I didn't say the attempts were indoors the same way I always have / sunny window sill and covered until seeds sprout
That window sill isn't as sunny this year....that's what I'm getting at. Do you think maybe that's slowing them down? Usually sitting on a window sill (or in my case kitchen table in front of large glass patio door facing south) a lot of sunlight is coming in and warming it up a lot more vs just sitting around somewhere. Peppers seem to wait for warmer soil than a lot of other stuff. A lot fewer hrs of good sunlight thru the days so far this year due to all the rain/overcast/gray/blah......
I haven't started anything yet even.....hasn't felt like other years with all the rain and still getting as cold as it has been recently.....I usually have stuff in the ground by now, but haven't started seedlings yet.
Corn & summer squash seeds arrive today.....no idea how long it will be until ground dries out enough to till where those are going - can't seem to get more then 3-4 consecutive dry days. Makes me glad I plant stuff as a hobby/something to do & don't depend on it to earn a living or feed the family - would be incredibly stressful!
