Well folks it's installed. Not to bad a job at all. Did everything minus leveling the deck, I will do that in the spring when its warmer in the garage and not as sloppy on the floor.

Another question for you all to ponder. New deck and all what's your best advice for keeping the paint from peeling off the underneath? Since its new I might as well have some sort of plan come grass mowing time. I do usually scrape the grass out from underneath but there always is a time when I just can pull the deck and do that immediately after mowing so what other tricks do you folks do to help?

I had same issue. paint coming off. First year i waxed deck. looks good. second year- no time but power wash it. still looking good. 3 year last year I see rust spots and paint flaking. I sanded the whole deck underneath and repainted it. I been thinking about clear coating it. need advice here about that. I also heard mo-deck spray works too but never used it on heavy duty deck but there been mixed reviews on that. .

Last spring when my mmm was new and unused I sanded and roughed up then
painted with EZ-Slide graphite-based coating (fricition reducing paint). It is a
black/grey finish and has held pretty well for the mowing season and did not stay perfectly clean under the deck but was a big help. I did pressure wash at the end of season and the paint stayed in most places. I plan to spray another coat or two this spring.
