Belly Mower Question

I have a 2015 Max 24 HST. I have access to an eMax 25M belly mower and was wondering if it would fit my tractor with the proper Mid PTO kit (MPM25) installed.

My local shop they told me the eMax mower would not fit my Max 24, that I needed the Max 24M belly mower and offered to sell it to me for $2500. From everything I can see, the eMax 25M and the Max 24M belly mowers look like the same mower, and even the parts listed on both use the exact same part numbers.

I would like to use this eMax 25M belly mower, but do not want to spend $1000 on a Mid PTO kit if the eMax 25M will not fit my machine. Has anyone out there had any experience with this?

Sorry, no experience with this. I have seen that different models use different connecting locations and lifting hardware for the deck. Maybe that is the difference even if the deck itself is the same.
So your Max 24 doesn't have a mid PTO? If this is the only purpose you would need one you may want to use the kit money and just get a 3 pt finish mower instead. I understand wanting the belly mower, it is nice to have, but a 3 pt would be more universal for your situation, resale, etc.

As a follow-up, I reached out to Mahindra direct and got a quick response back, "The mower decks will interchange. The mower deck gear boxes are also the same. All you would need is the correct mid pto kit for the max 24."
