Belt squeal on new X738

Took delivery of a new 2013 X738 and love every part of it. Auto connect 54" HC mower deck, Auto connect snow blower. They both go on very easy. All of the other features are great and perform well. The only thing that annoys me is the fan belt. When you first start it and about until 10 min. later the belt squeals. The belt is tight and I have spoke to others who have the same problem on tractors and gators. Question is : Anybody else had this prob. and how did you cure it ? Dealer says this is common on many J.D. products and goes away with time.

Where's the pics?! Took delivery of a 2013 and you didn't leave tons of photos with an in-depth review....tsk tsk tsk.

As for the belt squeal, wait a while, it will go away. Since the belt is new, the rubber is soft and very grippy. Once the surface of the belt wears a little it will stop.

Auto connect snowblower?

There really shouldn't be any squealing from the fan belt, but I suppose in time the pain on the pulleys may burnish in a bit and it should stop.
