Benefits of higher (20MPS FiOS) speed internet?

I'm jealous. I still have dial-up. Right now I'm downloading at a blazing 2.6 Kb/sec. I keep checking the Verizon site and they say they are coming, well 3 years later there still not here. I looked into satelite internet it would be worth having but I don't use it enough to justify the cost.

And it can be the same type of setup as DSL/Cable where it's easy to share the link if you've got one of these. It also allows you to run an external antenna much easier and you can position a cell booster if you need one.

I love my VZW EV-DO card, much easier than trying to find an open WiFi network when I'm on the road. Or the tractor
