Benefits of JD's 764 High Speed Dozer

Not that I'm in the market but I LOVE looking. I was wondering what JD wants with their high speed dozer. I guess what I'm saying is that I don't see a huge benefit over a regular dozer. I would see it as being less maneuverable a lot bigger and don't see how the extra speed would really benefit as when your dozing your usually just creeping around anyway.

I wanted to see what you though of it and what the benefits where.

I believe they engineered it as a cross between a dozer and grader. Supposedly it can run a tight grade up to around 6 mph. And more maneuverability, and better visibility with additional height, and closer to the blade.
Probably wouldn't be as good in the woods with the rubber tracks.....but for finish work, might be an asset.

I guess that's true but for the price I would see a lot more use for a regular sized dozer.
