I'm just curious how the new cylinders compare to the old for wall thickness and extension rod diameter. Like many of us, I've used my buckets for back-dragging for a long time with no problem - though this tractor is my first Kubota. I will definitely check the stops, but doubt that they come into play for the way I use a bucket. Even when back dragging I tend to use the bucket in a slightly forward position - rarely even vertical - and never all the way curled back against the stops as it is just too aggressive that way. Probably different loaders will vary.
There is a local hydraulic house that will build any cylinders that you want to your measurements for a very reasonable price. Not as cheap as Bailey's, but half the price of Kubota or JD. I think this type of custom cylinder service is common in agricultural regions. If I bend mine in compression I'd be tempted to go get a more heavily built pair. After looking them over, do you still think that you hit something? Or do you think they bent like a compressed column because they were extended?
