You have a much bigger problem my friend. In the first photo it appears you have cracked welds against the hitch frame. Is so badly rusted its hard to see but I think they are there. You also need to craw under and check your hitch frame bolts. I suspect based on the load it takes to bend the hitch pin you have probably started to deform them.
Please get yourself a new hitch and possibly save your life and those of others if it comes apart. A new hitch now will give you peace of mind. While you are at it you could also upgrade to a heavier one.
To keep mine in operating order, I remove the hitch when not in use and spray with WD-40 before and after each use.

I double looked at it. The frame looks more scary than the hitch or bolts. I'm having second thoughts on a bumper pull anyway. I talked to the guy today and I can get a nice goose neck for a little more. I may just use the hitch for my winch I have three goosenecks now so one more won't hurt.
