It was NOT me this time. We have had this thing since it came out. Did I not RTFM right?

When you dump, is the tailgate loose? Or is it attached?

When I take a dump, hehehe, I let my tailgate down and it is held straight out with cables. It does not hang loose. Are you bending the gate on your rear hitch when you raise your bed?
