bent the chute on my 60 inch MMM on my B7510

I just bent the chute on my 60 inch MMM on my B7510. I was backing up and it caught the edge of a stump....does anyone have a close up of a few angles of the discharge chute, so that I might bend it back?

I don't see how. I guess it depends on how bad he bent it, but it would seem likely plastic would have broken or ripped the mounting holes. I think I would rather have a piece of steel I could bend back and continue to use. JMO.

It is not terribly bad...just had to push my 250 lb body against it to almost shape it back. It is just not snug and I can see the grass floating back out of the back side of the chute. I was backing up and I apparently caught the edge of a stump on the end of the chute. It folded in the middle. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

The chute is not exactly plastic. It is some time of very flexible material. I have one on my JD 355D and it is amazing how much it bends and then pops right back.

I see Kubota has gone to this material on some newer models. I'd try to get one of those and install it rather than bending the old one back.

I would post a picture of the discharge chute on my 54" MMM but I've bent it a couple of times myself. Same way as you as a matter of fact. Those darns stumps seem to jump out of nowhere. I have been pretty successful in hammering it back close to the original shape but I'm sure it's not perfect.
