Yeah, John, be like me, right? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif I'd never post anything about a problem with a tractor brand I own, huh?! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Nope, you sure wouldn't as long as you had no problem!
I don't see any reason not to post about problems, just think it's funny that someone posting to the Kioti forum would think that that is keeping it quiet. Many other forum members read these threads religiously as well.

Keeping it quiet is a relative thing. I can guarantee that I won't be bragging about the Kioti parts supply system to my neighbors and friends. I also won't be on the general O&M forum bragging unless it is about how good the CK works.

Have you folks considered mounting a cow catcher on the front like the old rail road engines...... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Quite a lengthy thread for a bent tie rod. I guess Highbeam needed to vent a bit. I don't think it's fair to bash KIOTI parts availabilty in general because of one part. Hopefully after the tie rod fiasco, Highbeam won't need to worry about parts for a while /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Apparently you have not had to wait on a part. I blanked out the manufacturer brand, because it doesn't matter. If I have to wait on a part to get my tractor fixed, it is a problem! Period. End of story. To accuse the guy of "venting" because he wants better service is a low blow. Venting would be saying that all ***** tractors are junk, the entire tractor line is junk, the engines are junk, etc. It appears to me that he is satisfied with his tractor, but would like a bit faster service on parts delivery. Perhaps by posting that here, the people who can make a difference may read about it and make the parts supply snag go away.

If I have a legitimate problem with a specific item, and others accuse me of venting when I describe that problem, I have to figure that they are hiding something or have a side motive. If it were not for legitimate complaints, companies would never improve their products or service.

But, hey, that's me. I don't care to have my tractor sitting while some logistical issue that doesn't have to be present causes me delays. Maybe other people just want time away from their tractor.

His dealer has the part, no problem!
I have a cow catcher on my CK, it's called a FEL.

Venting, contributing, asking for suggestions.... Whatever. I have a busted tractor, it is not good. I am sharing my experience and will not be hushed.

The dealer offered to pirate a part from a tractor on the lot because he is also embarassed about the lack of parts availability and knows that it is bad business to make a guy wait. Problem solved, sort of, wouldn't have been if my dealer wasn't so good. Kioti's problem is still there, my experience should give you some warning.

It's not a tie rod issue, it is a parts availability issue. Maybe I just had bad luck this time, but that makes me 0 for 1 and that is 100% failure. There's nowhere to go but up from here.

I will endure. The tractor will run. Life will go on. If you bend a tie rod, don't expect to see a new one real soon.

I'd say if this problem still exists in a few weeks you'll have a point. Could be bad timing, or a distribution problem, hopefully just a glitch.

I ordered mine yesterday. I'll be sure to post when I get it.
