Yes, I'm in New England. A climate very much like Germany. We do have all three of those invasives but the latter two don't seem to be near as prolific as knotweed. On my property in particular, we don't have knotweed. But it's in the surrounding area, within a few miles, and once it takes over it really becomes a problem. The other two just appear here and there as individuals.
Two of the other major problem invasives here are wild rose and Japanese barberry. The latter will actually outcompete the former. But the wild roses get huge, several meters in diameter and are positively fierce. I have done battle with many and come out bloody.
Whole areas of the woods are infested with these two. They completely take over and are impenetrable. 90% of the plants are barberry and the remaining wild rose. I have a long reach Husqvarna hedge cutter. I go in and cut them down to size and then follow up with the sickle bar to get them down to ground level. If there aren't any roses I can sometimes just go straight to it with the bush hog.
