Colby- I haven't looked at the freeze plug to be honest with you. I will go out right now to take a look at it. I'm baaack. The plug appears to be threaded as that is exactly the same location that my block heater is located. They used teflon tape around the fitting.
I have a manual deflector on the Blizzard. I haven't moved it yet. I do, however, have the hydraulic chute rotation. I would definitely recommend that option. As I recall the upgrade to the hydraulic deflector was more than I thought it was worth. I have another remote, so I could just add an appropriate sized ram at some point if I felt it necessary. Jim
