I am on the fence between these 2 tractors.
The only difference I have noticed, the 2520 has 2.5 more horsepower.
The hydraulic filter seems to be more protected on the 2520 and it has the auto bleed fuel system.
The weight is the same. Both appear to be identical in size.

The $2000 dollar price difference at my dealer has me leaning towards the 2320.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Thank you

Terry~!

In general, I have seen $500-$750 increases per horsepower, so whether it's a $1250-$1750 increase based on hp alone is matter to debate. However, I think if you get on them, try them you will see a big difference in performance. The 2520 has the 2320 covered on hydralyic capability and would be a much stronger machine and faster machine to operate. Hydraulic differences alone would make me consider the next step.

2320 Specs.
Hydraulics
Type Open Center
Pump Rated Output, gpm (L/min.) 5.6 (21.2)
Steering 2.2 (8.5)
Implement 3.4 (12.7)

2520

Pump Rated Output, gpm (L/min.) 10.5 (39.6)
Steering 5.5 (20.8)
Implement 5.0 (18.8)

Thank you for the reply and insight.

The 2520 seem like a better choice.I like the auto bleed fuel system of the 2520.

Faster hydraulics are one major plus, the other (was important to me) was the extra PTO HP (I think it was 2 more) on the 2520. I run an LX-5 with no problems.

Hard to point in one direction or the other - we really don't have any idea what your use of this tracor will be. It could be that neither is a good fit and that you need to upsize or downsize.

Give us some info on use and you'll get better responses.

Scott,

Brings up a good point. What specifically made you over look the 2305 or not consider the 3X20 series?

Like Scott... I would be interested to find out what tasks the tractor will be used for?

Regarding the auto bleed system... I know my 2210 had the auto bleed as does the 2305. I'm guessing that the 2320 has it as well...

I will be mowing about 3 acres of lawn, clearing brush and timber from my pasture. Also I have an old circular drive that I need to remove.
I've owned an X595 and I want something larger that want destroy my lawn and will still fit in my garage.(the folding rops is a must).
I will be buying the 200cx loader and the 62d mower.

Thank you all for the insight and help.

Happy Thanksgiving~!

It all comes down to cash imho. If you got it, get the 2520. I have similar property to yours and the 2520 is a perfect fit. I looked at the 3320. Absolutley beautiful but just to large for my property and harder to tow. I added a 46bh and loaded the rear tires. What a great machine!! Also may want to check and see if the 2320 is direct injection like the 2520.

Good Luck!

I think you are thinking the direct injection on the 2520. They all have auto feed (2305,2320,2520) meaning if you run out of fuel, it primes itself. Direct injection is key for cold climates and eliminates the need for glow plugs, which the 2320 uses. Glow plugs arent bad either, but direct injection makes it fire up right away all the time.

Having owned both machines for a time (have the 2520 now) I found the sweet spot (RPM's) for the 2320 to get the hydrolic flow moving was kinda high in my mind (2000-2400) for loader work. Its because the power curve of the two different engines, and the 2320 rev's higher at 3,000 for PTO speed.
I found the hydrolic speed is surprisingly faster on the 2520 - that was the most important criteria for my needs. However it dosent mean it takes away from the 2320 - its no slouch in that area. There is a difference and the same would hold true comparing the 2520 to the next model up like the 3120. You would expect the 3120 to perform better, and it does without taking anything away from the 2520....and so on..

I didnt get a mower deck with mine - and I have a few questions as to what the options are when you have a 46BH - if you get a chance let us know what the dealer tells you
