Best buying time and why?

/ Best buying time and why? #11
I suspect that it won't apply to tractors but it always seems to me that the best used deals on motorcycles and boats are at the end of summer. I suspect a lot of folks up north depend on their tractors for snow work. It would seem reasonable that at the end of growing season, there should be more used available down south but there probably isn't a good reason. I suspect its just when a fella wants to trade up or unload old.... good luck

All good advice you have been given. Notice the theme is that a good deal won't last long.
1. So, get your financing pre-approved with a bank for a dollar amount at a local bank. Tell them what you are looking to buy and your price range you want to be in. If you have cash, better yet. Your ready to size your tractor.

2. Use this site to figure out what size, type tractor you need based on your needs. Always willing to help. Then, narrow your search to what fits your needs.

3. Don't go buy a bargain basement tractor only to realize it wasn't the right rig for your needs. All the one you mentioned you will like I'm sure. Now, what size?

As others have stated, best time to buy? When ever the right deal comes along. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It is a good thing that your not in a hurry
