If you’re not in violation then you’re a responsible taxpayer and shouldn’t mind the minor inconvenience of an inspection. How else would you suggest road tax be collected/enforced in a fair manner? I hate taxes too…but that’s another topic…

It’s not a “minor inconvenience” to be roadside with 2 cops looking into my truck, contents and personal business for an hour or 2.

I got pulled over for not wearing a seat belt and ended up waiting 2 hours for them to look for something else wrong and was late for an appointment with a customer.

I pay a crap ton of money for registration of my trucks & trailers already.

Can’t find the above info, but I found the following…
In 2011, Harvard's David Hemenway and Mary Vriniotis reviewed the research on Australia's suicide and homicide rate after the NFA. Their conclusion was clear: "The NFA seems to have been incredibly successful in terms of lives saved."

What they found is a decline in both suicide and homicide rates after the NFA. The average firearm suicide rate in Australia in the seven years after the bill declined by 57 percent compared with the seven years prior. The average firearm homicide rate went down by about 42 percent.
