Yes, I sort of was wondering how I would explain running 100 mph with my 4X4 dually diesel (2" lift kit) towing a 25' trailer with tractor, loader, and tiller. I figured my first excuse would have been "no way; I only have a 6 cylinder!" /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
There were several Mercedes and BMW's that blasted past me in a caravan, so I just joined in. I got a heck of a kick out of seeing the guy do a huge double take in his rear view mirror with my big Dodge running 100 mph towing that trailer behind him. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Besides, I was really tired and wanted to get home!
Shhh! Don't tell, but I've only had 1 speeding ticket in my life. And, that was in 1978. I doubt that it would still show up on my record. From that, I'll admit that I generally do not speed much. I've never owned a radar detector. Most everyone I know with one has gotten several speeding tickets. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
Oh, I did get an "improper start" warning last summer in my truck. I got caught doing a big time burn out in my truck. The state trooper only gave me a warning because he said that he had never seen a 4X4 dually smoking all 4 rear tires. My 16 year old son was in the truck with me. I told him that he would have not only have gotten a ticket, but would probably would have lost his license for that. Age does have some benefits! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
