best grapple for a 4410?

Yes, it just bolts on. Or you could weld it. I have a heavy duty bucket, so the top is reinforced. If you didn't have this, you would need to reinforce it. One thing is that there were no holes drilled in the mounting plate, and it took a good sized drill press to drill the 4 holes. He uses 1" steel.

I've never seen a JD option for this. There are other companies that will make a bolt on grapple, but for a lot more money.

If you are interested in this one on ebay, I would have him put another cross member closer to the end of the grapple. Just e-mail him and talk to him about it. You don't have to buy through ebay. And if you want, I could take some close-ups of the reinforcing I did to give you an idea.

The Bodozer mounts exactly like the quick release bucket but with 2 quick release hoses too.

boiler, can you compare the bodozer/anbomanufacturing with the ebay one you showed pictures of? i like $400 vs $2850 in price, and only having one attachement vs two.

spoke with the ebay grapple guy, very helpful and will basically custom make it for my bucket

I really can't compare considering I don't own anything else. I can tell you that I like that this just bolts on my bucket, and that it can be done by one person. So you can take it on and off when you like. I'm not sure how the grapple would work without the bucket tines that I also have. Might be something that you'd want to think about adding as well. But, it may work well without them. I can't say. I've never tried.

I just wanted to let you know this option out there. I shopped all the expensive attachments, but decided to try this. And I'm happy with it. Actually couldn't imagine doing this work without it.

i have ordered the ebay grapple from Andy, will keep you posted how i do. i can order and install the tines on my bucket for teeth if I find I need them.

Congrats. I'm sure you'll enjoy it AND the extra money you have in your pocket. A few things. If you know you're going to bolt the grapple on, and don't have a large drill press, have Andy drill the holes for you. Also, when you go to run your hydraulic lines, you'll probably have to get the lines made. I took a garden hose and some sacrificial zip ties and ran the line the way I wanted. Remember that one line will be a little longer than the other because of the cylinder. I then took a sharpie and marked where I wanted it to start, stop, and where I wanted any quick disconnects. Then just lay it out straight and measure. For the quick couplers, I put a set where the hydraulic quick couplers are for the loader, so I can disconnect/connect the lines together when I take the loader off. And then I put a set up front near the grapple, so I could take the grapple off easily, but not have to pull all the lines. As for the lines, I just followed the existing lines for the loader as much as possible.

Oh, I assume you're going to hook into a rear SCV? If that is what your doing, you're may need to get a set of coupler tips from your dealer to plug into them. I couldn't find them elsewhere.

(remember, this is a brand new tractor that I purchased a week ago)
