Best ice cream you ever had?

We normally get Perry's ice cream but I think homemade is the best plus you earn it by cranking that handle and waiting painfully long to see that cream start to rise in the churn.:laughing::licking:

Graeter's ice cream is the best I have tried. Cold Stone Creamery is very good also.

Best Ice cream I have had in recent years is Guernsey Farm Dairy's Ice cream. In Northville, MI.
Can not be good for my health. But it's so good. :thumbsup:

Sounds like an interesting place, Ron. My dad's best friend from the time they were kids worked nothing but Guernsey dairies his whole life. My paternal grandfather had Guernsey milk cows, while we had a Jersey. But now it seems that almost all the dairies have gone to Holsteins for greater quantities of milk instead of quality; i.e., richer in butterfat.:laughing:

We live close to Brenham, Texas which is where Blue Bell is made. Their ice cream is just so good. And since I'm praising Texas products, have you guys ever had a Shiner beer made in Shiner, Texas?

I like Kawartha Dairy products but have not tried this flavor. Will have to give it a go!
