Best loader for TN60a ???

The nice thing about finding an aftermarket loader is that there are literally thousands of fits for this loader (i.e. this loader has over 13,000 different make / model fits) we look at it like you are buying a tractor for your loader :) - as you will be able to keep the loader when the time comes to update your tractor.

Holy cow these units are pricey, all of them, not just certain brands. Unfortunately the wallet will probably only allow for the used market, but it is starting to look like finding a needle in a haystack when it comes to used loaders.

Price seems in line with what I paid for my New Holland loader 7 years ago.

I'll be installing a Bush Hog 3545 this week on a TN75 2wd. All the dealers I talked to didn't push the NH loader because of cost. They mainly recommended Bush Hog and Woods. I chose the Bush Hog and my cost will be $5,200 using my current rear remotes or $6,000 with installing additional Joystick and plumbed leaving my two rear remotes and joystick as they currently exist. I chose the latter because didn't want the hassle of disconnecting and reconnecting all the time. Also, I was afraid the hoses would get in the way of other things I was doing. It took me a while to choose between the Bush Hog 4045 and 3545 models but the 3545 was recommended because of the stress (weight) put on the a 2wd front end. I'm still not sure which model is the best for my machine but I took the easy way out and decided based on "it's better to be safe than sorry" cliché. If I paid to much for the FEL don't tell me... what I don't know want hurt me or I should say what my wife don't know want hurt me. :D

Used loaders are, indeed, difficult to find. That said, CNH has pretty good incentives on loaders right now. Yesterday, I bought an 820TL with all brackets for my new T4050. The tractor already had the mid mount valve and joy stick. I paid just over $6000 for the loader, including $400 for set up. The CNH incentives totaled $600.

I do not think that my dealer could have sold me a Bush Hog FEL for that price.

hollowcd,
I run a Woods 1020 on a TN65. All I could ask it be. Great combo as far as I am concerned. Can't rally give you any heads up on price, as mine came with the tractor. Seem to add around 5k to tractor price 4 yr ago.
Hope this helps.
