I thought about spraying it down with the hose, but I think it would just make a mess in the area I'm trying to work in.

I like the idea of a rotating drum. Using some expanded metal mesh and a 55 gallon drum, I could make something pretty simple. That's a good idea.

How about a 12 year old kid who will work for about $3 an hour?

I have a 17 year old who works for me every Saturday. He is supposed to work from 9AM to 3:30PM for $30 plus I feed him lunch. Now that he has been with me for about 1 1/2 years he has caught on that if he gets everything done I want done he gets to leave early. He usually finishes by Noon or 12:30.

I pay him the same $30 no matter how long he works so he knows he can count on that much pocket money. Best money I have spent in the last few years.

Besides mowing, weedeating, etc. he also can wash cars, clean the garage, and lots of other things that I don't like to do.

Just remember to teach them about wearing goggles when weedeating and other safety stuff. They know nothing about safety at that age.

Actually, I've lived the life of the 17 year old you are talking about. However, my dad never paid me or my brother, we were free labor. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
