Best Mulching Video ! Me!

My web man finally put my video on my site this week. It will be on the front page later but for now yall can view it by going to viewyourland.com and clicking on gallery. There are two versions one long and one short. they are listed as Comercial. Please let me know what you think and thanks for looking! This is the video I have been handing out to potential customers. The hard copies cost me $2 each and have gotten me a lot of jobs. Also great for hunting shows, home shows and county fairs! Price to edit and film was very resonable and now I get to share it with all of you!

Thanks Mr Jimi! This was filmed about 8 months ago before I turned up the machine and modified the head.(also before the ASV was too scratched up) Wish I could do another it is twice as fast and smaller chips now.

Great video!! I really enjoyed watching it and seeing what you can do. I'm not sure which was more impressive, seeing all the debri coming off the cutter while you were backing up, or the after pictures of those trees with all the mulch around them. It went from a solid jungle, to a beautiful park!!!

Have there been any studies that show how much better the trees grow after you thin out the saplings and undergrowth around the mature trees? I'd think that with less competition for nutriants and water, that they would really do allot better. Then when you think of all that mulch that you create, it just has to be a huge increase in the health of the remaining trees!!!

If your going to DL that on dial up, I would save it to PC for next time, It is done nice and good and the tree clipper is good and the grader is good, heck, you'll be up all nite

A very impressive video dirtyworks, I really enjoyed watching it. Now I'm curious though, what is your target audience? I'm sure us tractor fans love it because it could almost be an ad for ASV and your mulch head manufacturer. If you don't mind some honest feedback, I'd recommend more before/after and less machine to cater to clients. Even show some long after, with land fully reclaimed into gardens, patios and other outdoor living spaces.

Again, it's a great video, and very well done. Just not sure who your intended audience is.

And you must have some serious hydraulic flow for that thing, eh?

Tastefully done. Some of the videos did not finish, it may be a server overload. Be carefull when using the shears in the raised position. I saw a picture of a skid steer doing just that when the raised part caused the skid steer to fall forward into the stump and through the cab.

BTW, what happens to the pile of stumps?

Eddie, the mulch definately helps as much as the saving of the topsoil. Not sure of any long term studies officially.

OleMiss yes the head is faster and smaller chips on the first few passes. You have to see it in person to believe it!

John, It was my only option for dialup as I had one already edited to almost half. The short one is the same exact thing only shorter.I was affraid of that for the dial up crew but almost everyone knows someone that has faster access nowadays. Hope it did not inconvienence you too much.

Rob the main reson at first was because no one around here locally had any idea what I was talking about when i recommended mulching. A lot of people saw the machine and still had no idea what it did. That was before the site.The video was to give to developers and mail to realestate agents etc.The short videos of t he attachments wer just clips that were shot two weeks ago just for the website(shorter) I will add plenty of Before and After shots in the gallery in the next few weeks as I have time. Oh BTW Vermeer Midsouth displays my video in their Showroom to try and sell their equipment and I do not even get commission

Mr Fox I will try to find out what the problem is. And yes the shears do take a little getting used to.

We have a stumpgrinder attachment for the T-300 if its still in the ground and the customer needs it below grade. Depending on the situation and location we do a variety of things with the root ball of storm blow downs. If it needs to leave the property we either take it to the landfill or take it back to the shop to either burn there or fill up a large hole. If it is to remain on the property we move it to the desired location with either a trachoe or dozer or just a skid. We do also burn large trees and debri but prefer to burn in a hole or pit so that we do not have to "stir" the fire or move the hot ash and coals. We then cover the hole, spread the dirt and chip some trees over the top of the bare dirt to minimize erosion! Like it was never even there.

No problem, I just have to wait until tomorrow to see it - using an overnight download on a schedule program. People that know me claim I have oodles of patience - since I've never used any of my allotted amount! I'm scheduling several of them. Better get the popcorn lined up!
