This will be primarly use for mowing (about 300 hr/yr).

Requirements:
Belly deck must be included.
Must support a roto-tiller.
Must support a sickle mower.
Must be small, ideally a deck 42" or less.
Must support a front blade.

Very much prefer a standard 3pt with PTO.

All i have found is the cub cadet 2500 series, and the
tiller is hydrolic driven (and expensive), and no sickle
mower option i have found. I hope there are alternatives,
but i havent found them !

Only new tractors for that low a price may be a 2 wheeler like the BCS. Gravelys were a little less than $4,000 when new. Surprised you found any at all with a 3 pt.

My 1987/88 Gravely 5665 model is for sale in the classified section with 7 implements.

Some mower decks alone are almost that much for a "tractor". Good luck.

If you move into used - seek out a Simplicity 4041.

Also try simpletractors.com .

Dave, I don't think you will find what you want New for 4K.
Used in good condition might even be difficult.
Sorry I don't have a recommendation for you.

Welcome to the forum.

Just your size limitation on the 42" deck means the tractor is narrow, which means that it won't come with standard size 3 pt and PTO, the way I look at it.
42" is a narrow lawn mower tractor. 54" is about the minimum width of something that will have the 3pt and PTO. You need to sort out what you really have to have as a minimum and go for it. Maybe the PowerTrac has something that would work for you.
Good luck.

I don't think you can get -ANY- new tractor for under 4000$ except a chinese 20hp 2wd model. and that will still be no implements. It will have a standard 3pt ( cat 1 ) and pto.

Has the proper low gearing for a pto tiller.. I don't see why you couldn't put a 3pt sickle bar mower on it.

KK makes an "XB" series of rear mowers.. 42" cat0spaced/cat1 pins is the format.

For belly mowers.. I havn't seen many smaller than 48".. on newer machines.. but have seen ol IH cubs and others with 42" decks.. etc.

300 hrs per year of work... that's a good deal of work.. figure 1 (6hr) day a week of work...

Is this for comercial? if so.. I think I would look for a more expensive / non-basic-economy model machine.

I'm guessing this should be posted in the 'Lawn & Garden' section to get better feedback.

I just went through a similar exercise as what you are looking for.

I ended up with a Simplicity Conquest ~$4200.00. For what you are looking for I think it might be of interest.
