If I can get this burb for 4500, and it has as much room and power as a 9000 dollar 99PSD....then we would go for the burb, as we are paying out of pocket for this with no car loans.

Perhaps my previous post was misunderstood...
I will be towing a tractor that weighs 7K lbs.
So, with trailer, and gear, and people...etc....I really need a 3/4 ton

Also, my budget is actually around 9K.
I'm just no seeing why I need to spend that much when a 4500 dollar suburban (or other brand truck) would serve the bill just fine.

I've owned half ton chevies in the past, and thought they didnt really tow all that great...at least no better than my 97 toyota 4runner.
I've towed a race car all over the southeast for many years, but the total weight was probably only about 4500 lbs.

anyways, just more info to clear up any possible misconceptions :thumbsup:

I can tell you with 100% certainty that any 90's + Chevy V8 will out-pull an 82 Chevy or any 4 Runner for that matter. I've had a couple of them and regulary pulled 8k+ with no problem.
