Re: Best on line \"small\" tool store?
I have used Amazon.com , ToolCrib, ToolKing, and also bought stuff at HD and Lowes. The thing I have found with HD is that not every store carries the same stuff. I went looking for a Bosch rotating hammer drill last year and there was only 1 out of the 4 HD stores I looked at even carried the model I was looking for. Looking at Amazon is a good place to start - you will usually not find a much lower price than what they give you. Use the Amazon price as a reference point to see whether the local places are in the ballpark. In my experience some HD's and local tool stores have prices that can be close enough to online prices that it isn't worth waiting and paying the shipping if you want the product right away.
