9200 hst 4wd
I have an older 9200 hst 4 wd. I have a fairly steel grade paved road up to my house. What is the best combination of settings would give me the best power to climb the road so that the engine doesn't bog down. ....4wd or 2wd, high gear or low gear etc. Thanks

A Kubota B9200? My parents have a B8200 hst so i am pretty familiar with the model. I'm not sure how steep your drive is but I've always operated my parents tractor in "medium" range unless doing heavy work or on the road. I would suggest medium range, running at rated rpm, and if there isn't a chance of sliding down the hill using 2WD. If it starts to bog down ease off the HST pedal a little.

Welcome from Minnesota!

I'm thinking there must be some more requirements than listed. If the only requirement is best power and torque the answer will always be low range and 4wd regardless of paved or gravel, hill or flat.
