Best solution for retaining wall needed

I've about 50' of retaining wall built of RR ties I need to replace. It's about 2' tall for the most part. A short section might be 3'.
I'm in the country so no engineering or permit needed. I was planning on using mostly "bin blocks". My M4700 can handle one on the 3 point, my trailer can handle 3 and it looked like an elegant solution.
But now the local places I've called are saying they won't have any for 6 months.
Other suggested solutions?

I guess you could hurry up and wait or shop around. Hopefully, some hungry outfit would even sweeten the deal with delivery. Don't mess up the ascetics you are looking for by settling for less.

OK - I looked it up - "bin blocks". I thought you were talking about those highway barrier blocks. The ones around here weigh 4700# to 5000#+. Bin blocks would make a very nice looking retaining wall.

Ready mix companies are gearing up for the season and typically only cast bin blocks from partial loads that come back or miss-orders. Its a great way to use surplus concrete (that someone else already paid for). They'll be casting them all summer long, so if you can wait, there will be a stock built up in September or so.

I use mortarless blocks. You see huge walls of them done commercially all over. I've done 2 or 3. So easy to do.
