Buying Advice Best Time/Season of Year for BEST Kubota Incentives?

Kubota has just in time assembly line that has mixed models on the same line, where the parts are not scheduled to show up until the specified slot on the line, they are probably building models that already have orders that need to be filled. So the parts on those mowers may not even be scheduled to be made yet.

Unless you are making something that has higher demand to be sold NOW. You can sell a dozen BXs to a high end diesel zero turn here.

When are the best incentives typically offered? Although the financing spiffs being currently offered are nice, I'm more interested in tractor/attachment discounts. Spring? Summer? Fall? Winter?

Incentives are not predictable but expect interest rates to continue to increase.

FWIW: If you attend a Kubota "Field Day" currently being scheduled at dealers (some are over), you will receive a coupon code good for an additional incentive that can be combined with any other incentives. The incentive varies with model series.

My guess is that the best time to buy is when they want to get rid of their inventory the most. This is usually about the same time as car dealerships, when the next years models start showing up and taking the best parking spots to display them. The older models get moved to the side, and then to the back of the lot. If you can find a dealer with last years model, that will be your best deal. Sometimes the end of the month is good because they have quotas and incentives to sell so many each month. Go late in the day on the last day of the month, and you will get a better deal then on a Saturday morning early in the month.

Tractors don't really have a concept of "next years model" - the models change when they change, and it's not annual. But you're right, when the model changes you get deals on the old - we saw that with the BX 70 series when the 80 series came out. Of course, no everyone wanted the old model once the new was out...

I bought the old 70 model when the 80 model came out. Saw no benefit for me in the 80 model and saw the financial savings benefit to me by buying the 70 model. No, they are not like cars and the ownership and quotas are not anything like cars. Kubota owns almost all of the new tractors till they are sold which is when the dealer gets paid the same whether cash or charge and then dealer determines their profit. Not floor planned like cars. Used tractors are owned by the dealers so the dealers have their cash tied up in the used tractors and it's a different story.
Kubota can and sometimes does change incentives over night. I've bought tractors and came back the next day to sign the papers and got them for a better deal than our agreed on price because Barlow is a fair and honest man and told me about a new incentive that he was just notified about.
