best type of hoist for a dump trailer

A former manager at work built a huge deck a couple of years ago...I asked him if he used the new hangers and fasteners that must be used for the new ACQ wood...he hadn't.

I'm in the process of building about a 6x12 trailer and haven't even given a thought as to potential problems with the treated wood floor I will install..hmmm

I too, had a single axle dump tuck with a 4 stage ram. Fast, and nothing it wouldn't lift. Big cyl= big resovoir. My current trailer uses a scissor which has been fantastic in all situations so far. Everything requires maintenance. I love the ground clearance. I say buy the trailer with the heaviest built frame and box first, then consider the style of lift.My .015 worth.
