By non- pto do you mean no rear pto or no pto at all ?

My 67 Bolens has a tiller but no rear pto.
It uses a drive shaft from the mower deck center PTO.

How do you lift and back this thing ?

This would not work for my application.

If you look at the video, it shows two handles, one starts and stops the tines, the other lifts and lowers the tiller.

Hmm... sounds pretty cool.. I just looked into the tiller for the Deere G100 and the scotts gt2554 (same tiller) and it is powered by a belt from the underneath pto..... I dont like the idea of the belt thou...

I like the shaft drives..

I couldn't use it.
I back my tiller into a dirt pile to break it up into fine dirt to use for landscaping and yard work.
No can do that with one with wheels on it like that.
