Best UTV for Leg Room?

I never realized there were so many different brands! Better, I guess, than not having enough to choose from. As with most things motorized that you sit in. Seat time is the answer. Or as a good friend of mine would say, "There's a chair for every ***." Thanks for the comments, gentlemen.

Im 6'0 and have plenty leg room in the ArticCat Prowler.Has over 1500hrs no problems

I owned an RTV500 and you're right there isn't a lot of leg room on that one...I have an RTV1100 now, you sit higher and there is more knee room..I'm 6'0 and around 165lbs.

I have a Kawasaki Mule 3010 Trans Diesel which is similar to the current 4010 model. I'm 6'-4" and have no problems with the non-adjustable driver's seat fit. What isn't right on the floor board are the two painted front tire wheel wells that do protrude into the cockpit. To necessitate them skid free and foot useful, I cut and epoxy glued a couple of foot pads from a previously sold truck rubber bedliner-secure footing in an otherwise cramped floorboard.

6'4" is closer to my territory. If your knees are fine, mine are in heaven. My neighbor has a Mule and she loves it. Of course, she's only around 5'4".. Appreciate the picture and fix on the foot well issue.

Started looking at UTV's for my farm and am becoming initially alarmed that I may not fit comfortably in them. I'm 215# and 6'2" with most of the length in my legs. I've tried sitting in two brands (Polaris and Husqvarna) and legs are too long for them. I'm not looking for automobile comfort as I know I won't be sitting long in it, just getting from one side of my farm to the other.

Are these things designed for folks under 5'7"? I understand I haven't checked out the main players yet (Kubota, New Holland, Bobcat, etc.) but these dealers are more distant so a heads-up would be very helpful. All models seem to have non-adjustable bench seats and pedals, except for the NH Rustler, who's brochure mentions a bucket seats option that is adjustable "13 Ways". I would hope one of the thirteen is leg room, but there's no way to tell. My local NH dealer doesn't have any on the lot and few dealers are likely to have any with the bucket seat option. Any thoughts? Thanks.

What are you looking out of a UTV? The ArticCat Prowler/Polaris Ranger/Yamaha Rhino/Kawasaki TRex are way different performance than the Kawaski Mules and Kubotas RTVs. Way different kinda gotta ask do you wont a horse or a mule?

I understand the first group are basically glorified four-wheelers. I gather most of their undercarriages are not as robust as the standard-bearer UTV's like Kubota, Kawasaki and Bobcat. What I'm looking for is reliable transport about my farm, which has hills, woods and some marshy areas. I'm not looking for it to do the work of a small tractor. No plowing or sub-soiling anything. At most there may be a chainsaw and some firewood in the cargo bed. That said, the driver's position has to be comfortable. Not enough leg room is a non-starter. No need to settle if some machine, somewhere offers it. I'm getting close, thanks to you and others in this thread.

If you have a dealer around, check out the kioti mechron ,i sat in one the other day and it felt fairly comfortable for me (6' ,240 ish). It also looks like it would be great all around utility machine 22 horse diesel 4 wd ..just a thought ....Craig
