Best UTV for Leg Room?

Well I us my prowler everyday on the farm hauling square bales,feed cows building fence pulling my 300gal.sprayer back to the shed,moving 16ft&18ft trailers so I can mow,load the bed with topsoil to fill holes,even took it to new mexico elk hunting.I have threw everything at it and can still run 55mph down the county road if I wonted.I do know that the mules/etc. top speed 30mph,low ground clearance,rough riding in the pasture,lack power(rtv900/1100 mite be a different story).My in-laws just bought a Polaris 800 RangerCrew just dont care for it. One that stands out looks to be in the middle(little of both worlds)would be the JohnDeere 825i.

The Prowler sure specs out nice on paper, especially on ground clearance, wheel base and towing. Plus I got a dealer only 11 miles from me. I'll have to check to see if they have any machines on the lot. Thanks.

I test drove a Cub Cadet Volunteer 4x4 and found it tight, even though I'm just 5'10". I ended up with the RTV 500, which is sized ok for me, but my knees do hit if I slide forward much, such as when going downhill. For your purposes I would not recommend either.

Not the Kubota 900. It has very odd ergonomics.

The most comfy side by side I've sat in is a Polaris RZR. Of course they aren't made for workin.

I'm 6'9" and 250. I have the Mule 4010 and it's "fairly" comfortable. I have no problems driving it. Have put 300 hours and 1500 miles on it in less than 2 years.

I couldn't even drive the Polaris at the time and wasn't paying almost 20,000 for the Kubota four seater.

That new one... 900 I think... Is really awesome and ergo friendly! Of course its nearly the size of a jeep and costs nearly as much too! Lol!

Other than Kubota, most others seemed small and more diffficult to enter and exit. The 1140 is nice, for us big guys. 6" 1 265# powerlifter

I'm fairly stuck with going with a diesel machine for torque and fuel consistency with the tractors. Rather not have another tool (that I can't drive to the gas station) to have to put gasoline in. Narrows the field somewhat.

Its ur choice but Im think that diesel more per gallon(not more mpg),diesel oil changes cost more,diesel cost more to repair,just my opinion I have a diesel truck and my next truck would be a gas just not worth the cost to run.Tractors are different they just dont offer an option........Sry!!

The diesel UTVs get significantly more MPG than the gas burners do. They'll get there slower, but they'll have more fuel left when they arrive!

Let me know when you find one that comes close to having leg room. At 6'11", 278#, they all feel like those little car clowns to me.

if your looking for sure power then the only two that come to mind is the rtv or the johndeere gators,they are sheer workhorse machines.

The diesel UTVs get significantly more MPG than the gas burners do. They'll get there slower, but they'll have more fuel left when they arrive!

How your figure?Takes them twice aslong and sure the tank just aint bigger. Just like trucks if this is true why do the diesels not get anymore than the gas trucks?

My BX and the RTV1100 use far less fuel than any similar gas burners that I've owned...Although, the RTV500 was very easy on gas.

I can cut my grass almost 3 times on one tank of diesel, my previous Cub gasser would use 4 gallons per cut.

i would say the rhino or teryx they have alot of leg room but they fall short on the working part.out of the two i would take the rhino it has less problems and is really reliable .it will also get you there and back not to mention a few places you never thought you could go.
