Flail and cheap are two things that should never go together.

Good flails cost good money for a reason!

The Bestco HD 7ft flail I bought was the higher end of a low cost line up. Still not cheap but not high either. It has held up for 4 yrs now mowing about 10 acres 2-3 times a yr but I'm not real hard on stuff either.

Just went through a flail mower purchasing decision myself, focusing on 'best bang for the buck', not necessarily cheapest. Italian technology and components seems to dominate this market. Try to stay away from cheap Chinese stuff.
I went with an Ironcraft FMH 175, which is US made with Italian components. Has a hydraulic side shift, which comes in handy when you quickly need to mow between trees (however, you'll need an extra rear remote). I paid 5K$ cash for it, which is substantially cheaper compared to some of the boutique Italian brands such as Del Morino.

Was that manufactured in Athens, Tn or Denton, NC or …..? Looks an awful lot like the various imports, even model #’d very similarly. FMH-175, 175 cm = 68.8976 inches

Just reached out to Ironcraft with regard to the FMH175 and 205. They are made in India by Shaktiman. Warranted by Ironcraft.

Not surprising, disappointing though

I've had a Coroni TM1900 for about 4 years. I have some rough terrain and it's held up well. I use it for a few miles of trails and about 8 acres of orchard. I run it with a L4800.

The only issue I had was that the roller was bent (I bought it used) but since I straightened it it's been great.

Betstco Tractor Impliments is warning of price increases.

I have a Betstco HD flail mower as well. 77" Cut Heavy Duty Flail Mower, FH-EFGC195 | Betstco Sales, Parts, and Service:

Had it for a year now. I mow around 10 acres 4 times a year. Put about 25-30 hours on it so far. Only complaint are the cheap belts that it comes with but that's an easy fix with Goodyear replacement belts. Mine has the hammer flails. They work fine on grass and sticks.
