I did not want to divulge my method but here goes, it combines the siphon method and cost savings all in one.
I park my tractor on the down hill side of something / anything large that runs on diesel.
I remove the gas cap from the large thing that runs on diesel and then remove my tractor's cap.
I then use a hose and siphon from big thing to tractor.
Either when tractor is full or large guy who owns the large thing starts to run in my direction throwing things at me and my tractor I disconnet hose, mount tractor and drive off at a brisk 12.5 mph.
