Best way to Find Used TLB?

My dealer, in Barre Vermont currently has 3 used L48's. Don't know what condition they are in but might be worth contacting.

I see a lot of 580 M or SM with cab heat and no air. Is air easy to add you think? Seems like the filtration and ducts would be in place just add the evap. core and compressor. But the last thing I want is a home built half ***** A/C unit.

I have lookedat all of the listing and thank you for the referral. A new L48 is about $39.9 with warranty which I feel buying new is the way to go if you plan on having it for a while. I was quoted $29.8 for L48 without hoe and that is what I might do. I saw one in CT with aboyt 100 hours for 30K, wish I bought it. A friend of mine bought a new 40 series Kubota and I got to check it out, reinforces my view of the industrial TLBs having so much more value as the 40 series are not much cheaper but are lighter duty by a long shot. I need massive pickup power such as 3,ooo lbs. all the time and woud be bummed out by lighter duty tractors which would beat themselves to death....or break.....attempting something a true TLB can do all the time. I wonder how T300 bobcats do as they can lift the same amount as an L48, but I would have to drive it feel the difference.

Don't even try it. It's not easy to add unless you're quite a good mechanic. Just get a 580 with air. Adding air will run ~ $3,000 at the dealer.

I wanted to add A/C to my International dump and i got quoted $3,000 from everyone I talked to.

Have you ever considered that for much less, maybe even half as much money you can get a full size CASE utility 4x4 with twice the lift capacity and a 3 pt hitch??

I gaurantee you any of these machines will pull an L-48's rear end off, lift twice as much, have more PTO & 3 pt hitch power and cost you 1/2 as much of your hard earned money. They're Waaayyyy stronger built and will be around many, many more years. Cheap to run & maintain, too. Heck, the 1st one even has an enclosed, heated cab with wipers!
