Battery powered pump, best thing ever.Use it for tractor, mower, atv.
I have a couple of battery powered ones similar to that. They have an auto shutoff feature. I use them to fill the lawnmowers now, but I used to use them to fill the tractors too until I got my tank and 12v pump setup. Pouring fuel out a 5-gallon jug gets old at my age.![]()
I see 2.2 gal/min on most of the battery ones (on LEVEL transfer - who does that???). What's the lift range? Can it pump from the ground to the tractors fuel tank (hood level)???Nice. Unfortunately some of us still drive orange tractors that fill like lawn mowers![]()
Siphoning is the best. But I use a longer hose, put the container in the FEL, use the FEL to do the lifting.A “shaker siphon hose”. Self priming with a couple shakes. About $10.
1) Set fuel can on tractor (fender, hood, etc..) above fuel tank.
2) Inset check valve end of hose in fuel can, other end in tractor tank.
3) Shake check valve end of hose up and down a few times.
4) Go do something else for 3-4 minutes while can empties.
