Best way to get rid of 1 to 5 inch diameter inch trees to clear access road?

Need to clear a couple access roads through my bug out property. Alot of 1 to 4 inch trees (oak and maple). I have the light material bucket and the 4 in 1 bucket and PT1460.
Going to try and just use the front edge of the bucket and dig into the ground slightly and lift and tear all this out as I go into it?
A little concerned about getting flat tires?
I think it will work on the smaller stuff but the trees that are around 4 inches and bigger may be a problem?
Any better/other suggestions?

Don't cut them. That size stump will poke holes in a tire quick.

I'd get a spare quick attach plate from PT, go to a used forklift seller (they are out there) and buy 1 heavy fork. Weld it to the quick attach plate. Push the fork under the ground and pop the trees out. I do that with 2" trees all the time with my little PT425 and PT's pallet forks. Don't pry with the end of the fork or you'll bend it. Drive it all the way in to the hilt then use curl and dump to pry. Should be a cheap attachment to build. QA plate is $350. Fork shouldn't be but that much. Welding is cheap. Your machine has ridiculous hydraulic power. Go slow.

Hire a skid-steer or excavator with a brush mulcher. If there isn't much rock they can usually mulch right in to the ground so there is no stump left behind.

I used a smallish dozer with the blade just shy of digging in so the blade hit the stump just above the ground. Kind of snow plowed them to the side. Not much dirt and easy to burn or mulch when it dries. Not sure how the compares to your PT though.

How many, how dense together and over what distance? How much time do you have to accomplish?

Most of the ideas are fine for a few dozen, but if you're talking hundreds .....

A Piranha tooth bar for the bucket of your machine will get the small ones,,,

I use a woodsplitter, and a couple chains to pull out 4" size stumps effortlessly,,, Hydraulic power beats working hard,,,

Put a chain through the tube, and connect the chain to the cylinder,,

Any woodsplitter will pull during cylinder retraction,, with the power of a 150 horsepower tractor,,
it will easily develop over 30,000 pounds of pull force.
