I think you can have the stumps grinded for about $2 per foot depending on area.

That was having it done. I checked a place they offer 10 or more stumps up to 24" for $6 each.
Might be worth while to hire rather than rent machine, transport ect...

Wow could that price be right? You shure they dont have a 400.00 charge to bring the equiptment to your site. I would think 6.00 a stump wouldn't even cover the wear on the blades.

$50 to $90 per stump was what my neighbor was quoted. These were in the 24" range. Took the guy about 15-20 minutes per big pine stump. He had a trailer mounted one. Looked like fun... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I don't know if they invented them or not... but they are certainly # 1 in our area...
I see them being trailered all over the place... the going price is $100 to 175. per "smaller" stump... not $6. as someone else has found?
The price of that machine is a few thousand + dollars I believe... (lots of $6. stumps to pay it off /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif) /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

There are a few that will charge a very reasonable amount per stump. There is a person in my area that charges $10 a stump if you have 10 or more. If you don't have that many it is a whopping $15 ea. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
