Boy I hear that!
I have a commercial gas well half way back my property. It has a line feeding the house. Not marked. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif It was put in by the owner and a private plumbing contractor that isn't around anymore. Neither of them. The company that owns the well tried to find it with their equipment and thought they had a good idea of how it crossed my creek and fed the house. Nope, wasn't there.
There was a lot of trenches dug when building my business and we thought for sure we would "find" that gas line.
I probably will one of these days... when I least expect it.
