Security & Theft Best way to protect Tractor from Theft?

There is a rancher/herder?? ( has over 6000 sheep) about 25 miles south. He has an alarm system installed on his tractors. Works like the alarms on cars. Its motion sensing.
You move his equipment without turning off the alarm and the devil himself will hear it. It has an amplified woop - woop siren and an old firehouse clang-clang bell mounted on the barn. He said it can be heard for five miles and from his demonstration - I believe it. At 250 feet - its so loud that it hurts your ears.
There is always somebody - somewhere on his property - that can respond to this system, if its set off. And all his help are always toting a rifle(coyote control).
I would guess at some point or other he has had trouble with thieves. I doubt, with this system, he worries about theft very often.

I don't do anything other than taking the key out. The entrance to my place is a wooded driveway with a simple farm gate down a long country road in the middle of nowhere.
No one is going to happen onto it by accident, take the gate down, hot wire the tractor and drive it for miles to get away with it. Some one who knows it is there might come with a truck and trailer, take down the gate and steal it in the middle of the night. There is almost nothing you can do about someone that determined to steal something and this has happened to one farmer down the road years ago (got a 4 wheeler and a lot of saddles and tack).
And I have insurance. So if it gets stolen I can happily bid my geared tractor goodbye and get one of those hydro contraptions everybody raves about.
