Best way to smooth out pasture

Slippy - I've got a TR3 and it's a pretty good tool for maintaining my arenas, but I sure wouldn't use it in my hay fields. What are you wanting to do with it?

I have some really rough areas in my fields. This part of my property was stripped for coal about 30 years ago. You get down to far and you get in to some real rock. I was looking to essentially pulverize the existing sod and top couple of inches of soil and smooth it out and seed.

I suppose I could bring in trucks of dirt and spread it. I could use my box scrapper, but I am affraid I might get too deep and have big clumps when I'm done. So, looking for ways to smooth it out.

Thanks.

Oh yea, side project is my son's motocross track that is compacted and rocky.
