I like to go big. I want comfort and storage. With these you will spend more time on a bike.

Rode my ultra to Arctic Circle. Have a Road King which has been over the country. Bought Concourse for work bike. Probably sell it, not comfortable and no low end power, for when you get stuck in traffic. Great bike for cold riding.

My 98 magna wouldn't start away from home. Flimsy electrical.

My Harley baggers fit me.

Most fun bike was my 1978 250 Canam Enduro (was still street legal because it had a brake light and headlight) , that Bombardier engine was rock solid , kick starter was on opposite side compared to my street bikes. But it was reliable as heck . Oil injection where the oil was housed in the frame tube of the bike.

I've owned a few in my time...
1966 Yamaha RD 100...
1970 Honda SL 175...
1972 Yamaha 175 Enduro...
1969 Honda CB 350...
1976 Honda CB 750...
1982 Honda Goldwing 1100...
1985 Goldwing 1200...
1995 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 A...
2003 Harley Ultra Classic...
All were good...
None were bad...
Goldwings were the smoothest...
Harley was very comfortable, fuel injected, and loaded to the gills...
CB 350 had a blown head gasket and leaked a little oil. Would only do 65 mph. Ran it all the way to the mountains several times camping. Would leave a trail of oil. Looked worse than it was. Never left me stranded. Those in line four cylinder Japanese engines were bullet proof but would buzz you. The Goldwings were like sitting in your recliner. The Harley let you know you were on a motorcycle but still comfortable. The low vibration was not tiring. They pretty much had that rubber mount insulation down pat. Always wanted a BMW and Moto Guzzi. That ship has sailed. Well...once I get the hip and knee fixed you never know...

1977 Kamikaze (Kawasaki) KZ 650 4 cylinder. Fun, smooth, reliable, economical. Brother-in-law worked at the dealership & kept all 4 carbs tuned for me. I loved it right up to the moment of impact. It died stuck under the front bumper of a 1978 Firebird operated by a drunk driver. I got hit head-on. I learned the names of assorted broken bones that were sticking out of my body. I got real old real fast.

My favorite scoot was my KTM 495. Graduated up to that from a number of slower bikes that really had to work hard in the desert. The KTM was the fastest and most forgiving of any bike I've ever ridden. It would slide effortlessly and always had way more power than I could imagine it had. It's thing was to rocket up to speed and seriously scare me in rough terrain, then get me through a rut or around a turn that it never should have. Never saw a bike that would dig such an impressive trench and bombard everyone behind with boulders. Man, what a fun bike!
One trip while tearing along through the desert on a nice twisty, I looked down and realized, while steering with the throttle, that the front wheel was about a foot off the ground!. I didn't know one wheel power slides were even possible, much less comfortable and effortless.

Now I've settled down to a Raptor 700 quad. Fun too, as it loves to slide and has serious power.

Can't think of a "worst" bike. They've all had their place and all been fun.

My best is either a 2006 Triumph Speed Triple or my 2012 Triumph Tiger Explorer.

The worst had to be either a Kawasaki KLR 600 (before they were a 650) because of numerous electrical gremlins or a Kawasaki KL 250 that just seemed to disintegrate.

Honorable mention 1997 KTM 620RXC, man that thing would haul and was a lot of fun.

I am to old now but had 13 bikes over many years from small to large . The Gold wing and a loaded Kawasaki Vulcan were the two best riding bikes for sure . Never owned a Harley , wish I had though . The bike I liked most was probably the Honda Sabre all decked out , a very nice bike indeed .

First was probably the worst, but as a 15/16 YO, I have fond memories of it. Yamaha 400 Special II. Paid $300 for it and $57 for first year's insurance. Rode it everywhere (including the woods). Wasn't terribly fast on top end, but could raise the front end. Was fun. Very unreliable, but it was old when I bought it and only money I put into it was red spray paint because I like red.

Had a 82 Silverwing 500GL as my next bike. Shaft drive was jerky but bike was sole means of transportation (as was the Yamaha before it) and was reliable and easy and comfortable. Finally bought a truck when I was 20 or 21 and gave that bike to my dad. Wrecked it once. Cheap enough to fix it. Couple turn signals, etc.

Next bike was my "nicest". 3rd Gen Honda Magna 750. This was years later after giving dad the Silverwing. Dumped it one time in the mountains and made me rethink things having 2 young daughters at the time. Sold it and moved on for now.

My brother has 3 bikes and a friend has a stable full, so I do ride sometimes, but it's someone else's now and just a couple times a year.

Kids will be out of the house in 3 years. Will probably buy another after that. I love the BMW R Nine-T that my friend has and I have ridden. Who knows what I'll buy though, I really have always wanted a Katana or GSXR.
