Rotary Cutter Bestest HD rotary cutter for the $$$$$

I'm looking for a H.D rotary cutter in the 8' or so size. I'll be using it to reclaim the edges of my hay fields, cut pastures,laneways etc,but not much brush (I have a Brush Brute for that job). Who makes the most dependable,easiest to use one for the $$$$???

What is you definition of Heavy Duty? 1", 2", 3", 4", etc. If not "brush" then what "stuff" do you plan on cutting? How much PTO HP are you using? How much money do you want to spend? Give some more details please...

Hey John,

The hp will be from around 50 to up to 100.

By H.D. I mean the ones that the manufacturers classify as H.D. Which usually means slip clutch,heavier deck,and construction,stronger gear box etc.....

Oh ya also want a 3pth one.

As for the $$$ that's what the question is all about!! If I can get a good one for say $1750,why pay $4000 for one that's comprable!! I'm looking for the best bang for the buck,that is well built and dependable,and will last awhile if taken care of.
