Better Buy Tires NOW!!!!

I always do my very best to buy american made products. I know that it is probably impossible to buy all american made stuff but, I have no problem paying more for american made products if it will support jobs here in america.

The way I see it, tires 15 years ago did not cost the consumer anymore than they do today and they were all mostly made in the USA. That being said the difference in today and 15 years ago is huge CEO payouts by way of cheap labor (overseas labor). Many CEO's of american companys could care less about american jobs moreover they are only happy with the bottom line...... PROFIT..... I'm glad the president did what he did to help the cause for american jobs, it's about time...

Here is the American problem: we want to have a job that pays a very good wage. Thats fine everyone wants to make a good living. Here is where the problem comes into play, we want the good paying job but we want to buy stuff cheap. You can not have it both ways. The cheap stuff is usally imported, and the more costly stuff is made in the USA.

I feel that America has to wake up and see that we are the ones at fault. If we want to make the big money, we have to turn around and spend the big money on things we build here at home.

Alot of the imported things we buy are owned by an American company, but made overseas where labor and raw materials is cheaper.

Rember the old saying you get what you pay for.

Just my opinion but for those old enough if you think back it all seems to have started going down hill when Wal Mart destroyed the small businesses in all of the towns it located it's stores in..most of the goods come from China and other countries and the small retailers just closed in our area at the time one after the other..Just a thought.
