OK, I admit it. I love my BX, but really dislike the 3 pt, lower arm keeps. The turnbuckle/rod system just does not fit my personality. With implements being spaced anywhere from 20" to 27", these factory keeps are not the easiest system to adjust. I, for one, have had enough of them.

OK, let's hear your recommendations. Photos greatly appreciated.

Yeah - me too. Hate the turn buckles- but I haven't been frustrated enough to do something about it. However there was a thread on here where someone took a B series pinhole sliding bar and just modified it a little bit to make it work on the BX. So either swap out the turnbuckles for telescoping stablizers or get a quickhitch seems to be the only options.;)

Guys tend to come up with new ideas and there are new members joining all the time. Here's to hoping some good adaptations can be suggested.

Forgive my ignorance but are you guys talking about the two adjustable rods that control side to side movement? If so, then yes, they are a major PITA!

Read through that thread. Not too bad. Price really comes out closer to $100 and requires some mods. Still not bad.

Curious, has anyone found anything else that works, say a non Kubota part solution?

I have the Kubota telescoping 3 point hitch stabilizers on my B3200 and they make the job of attaching implements a breeze. I got them from "TractorSmart.com". They have a link on their home page to the telescoping stabilizers. They are sold for B series but may fit the BX. Less than $170.

170?! too rich for my blood just for sliding bars.

The less time spent turning the turnbuckles the better IMO. The solution discussed here looks very nice. Just thought I'd mention a simple approach that takes most of the turnbuckle frustration away, without as much expense. If you replace the pin in the clevis at the end of each shackle with a quickpin, you can readilly pop them out and spread the arms to replace an attachment. The pins will cost about $2. Hope somebody that isn't ready for the full solution will benefit.

Good idea. I think I'll try that. Thanks!
