FWIW, a dealer selling a used off-brand trade-in seems to offer better pricing than the same tractor at a dealership for that brand. IOW, orange at a green dealer or vice versa, costs less than if the colors are the same. Maybe it is good to start a relationship by buying used from the local dealer, but just how much money do you want to pay extra to be his friend? The dealers here are 80 miles away in a city, so there isn't any relationship anyway.
