I think the key here is alignment. Assuming you are right on target as you back up the tractor to engage the frame then it's simply a matter of dropping two pins to secure tractor and subframe and then attaching the two hydraulic hoses.

It could be accomplished in ten minutes if you have stored the subframe backhoe at proper height and are alligned properly. I take my time and especially watch the filters to make sure nothing gets knocked around. let' call it a half hour job assuming additional passes have to be taken at allignment. ymmv

It would be stored in a garage when not in use, ready for hookup!

If you get a Woods Hoe the subframe stays on the tractor no worry about knocking filters off if everything is aligned it can be put on or taken off in less than 10 minutes, also requires less storage space because you don't have the subframe attached. When I got mine I had a set of remotes installed for the hydraulics, much easier and faster to connect and disconnect.

I think storing the backhoe in a building is obviously the best way to keep it in tip top shape.

To expand a bit on my earlier post the tractor needs to back up straddliing the frame right on target and get as close as you can so the hydraulics can be hooked up. Then one can fine tune the height of the subframe using backhoe boom and outriggers to raise lower in relation to target points.

I agree, with mine it's all about storing. you need to store at the proper height and allignment, if you let it settle for example, then lining up for re-attachment can take a while.

Mine is a really good four point setup, but If I let the hoe settle at all after detach, re-attach takes time and is a little frustrating.

I will use my driveway going forward to keep the allignment easier than on dirt.

I wanted to hear from owners, My plan is to keep it in the garage at the right height so all I need to do is back up and hook it up for speed and to make it as easy on both of use as possible. I been told the BX 24/25 is a simple hookup. But with our new land we are concerned the BX style (sub cut) will not have enough ground clearance for what we want to do.
